May 2013 - Alibis
by Peter Kennedy
Directed by Ellen Strauser

Performances:
May 10 - 19, 2013

Whodunit, howdunit. When famous actress Primavera Donna throws a party and winds up dead, it’s up to the guests to figure out who and how, and why the hired help is so annoying. Shades of Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie, and Ten Little Indians. As the storm outside rages and the body count mounts, the guests must contend with interruptions, shocking revelations, tacky special effects, and the arrival of a mysterious visitor. Both the action and dialogue are fast-paced and the surprising conclusion leaves only one question: Who gets the movie rights? The cast includes a stuffy butler, a social butterfly, a playboy, a dotty chemist, an aristocrat of dubious origin, a nun who has taken a vow of silence, a part-time detective, a very French maid, and a mysterious stranger. A rapid-fire romp through the conventional drawing room mystery

September 2013 - Romeo and Juliet
by William Shakespeare
Directed by Larry Smith

Performances:
Sep 13 - 22, 2013

Auditions in May, 2013.

Shakespeare's famous love-tragedy about a boy and a girl from two feuding families who fall in love, secretly marry, and meet their ultimate doom due to hatred between their families.

We often struggle reading Shakespeare as assigned in our schools.
Shakespeare was never meant to be "read."
It was meant for the audiences to SEE it performed before their very eyes.

Don't struggle.
Come see it performed live on stage.
We think you will enjoy it and come to appreciate Shakespeare's plays more than before.

"....What's in a name?
That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet;...."

by Michele Vacca
Directed by Amy Bock

Performances:
Dec 6 - 15, 2013

It is December 23rd in a small town somewhere - not too long ago. As darkness falls, distant sleigh bells are heard, accompanied by the faint chattering and giggling of many high pitched elfin voices. After a moment, a tall, mysterious figure in a long, dark cloak enters, nods, gives a signal, then departs. Suddenly a group of unusual, energetic little beings dash in, and within moments, these elf-like creatures transform a deserted store front into a colorful and fully-equipped toyshop...
